Welcome to Wirksworth Junior School
Our Core Value this half term is
Welcome to WJS!
Wirksworth Junior School is a very happy school. We provide a warm, supportive and inclusive ethos where staff and children work together to ensure all feel welcome, safe and cared for.
We want children to build memories to last a lifetime at school, for their learning to be full of excitement and challenge, and for them to develop a sense of enquiry and a desire to make the most of every opportunity.
We see working in partnership with parents, governors and the local community as vital to providing a culture of excellence where all children are encouraged to reach their potential.
You are always welcome to visit us, whether to look around or to take part in activities and to experience the stimulating atmosphere that makes Wirksworth Junior School a very special place to be.
We are currently developing this new website. Please visit again to keep up with new additions and section.
